Ashoka's roots in Asia were set in 1981, with the election of the very first Ashoka Fellow in India. Today, there are over 600 Ashoka Fellows across the continent and the number continues to grow each year. Ashoka has programs in India, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines, Korea, Sri Lanka, Japan and Indonesia.

Ashoka is working with partners throughout Asia to realize the "Everyone a Changemaker" vision. Together, we strive to build an Asia where:
